SevCol is a Science Fiction (SF) Live Action Role Playing game (LARP). In SevCol, participants will be playing the crew and passengers of a spaceship in the 24th century Solar System.
SevCol aims to be a What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get LARP. This means, that there is no elaborate ruleset to master, and no complicated cards or other tricks to represent things in the game. If you see something in the game, it is what it is, and you can do with it whatever you like (although we would appreciate if you don’t really break things, of course). The character you play will be able to do anything you can do yourself.
To create a realistic spaceship experience, we will be using EmptyEpsilon. This software will enable the participants to truly control a spaceship, using various bridge stations to control engines, weapons and other equipment on board. We will enhance the simulator by building custom consoles for these bridge stations, giving participants the feeling they are on a real vessel.
